Village Aid and Development

Periodically this project provides emergency care of Karen refugees forging a living in remote jungle areas at the Thai/Burma border (Thai side). We trek out and give much needed rice, mosquito nets, shoes, clothes and more. If the village needs things such as toilets, funds/teaching for fish farming, vegetable gardens, wells or building we (in conjunction with their leaders) look at how we can assist in that also.

Current ongoing Village Development Projects:

PALAU NOI: C3e has built a community center and toilet block in Palau Noi. C3e also pays Seyhtoo a salary to teach 30 children on weekends. Seyhtoo teaches Karen history, culture and language, songs and bible. The cost for this project is $80 AUD / month. We need sponsorship for this project.

BONG LUK:  A group of 30 churches came together to fund half the cost of land for a future community center in Bong Luk. C3e has funded the other half of the cost. Daaphor is the village pastor and with his team teaches Karen adults and children Karen history, culture and language, songs and bible. C3e is investigating further involvement in this village. Check back for project costs.
